If you missed our meeting Monday night, you missed a good time!!!  We had 10 members there and everyone enjoyed themselves!!  (Susan couldn't make it due to the flu.... We hope she's feeling much better!!!)

First we had a regular meeting and got that out of the way!!  Then we had, not one, but 2 prize drawings!!  The first winner was Sandy... She's showing off a scarf that was in the prize!!

The second drawing was won by Kim and was a gift from Sandy!!  It was a wonderful Christmas ornament with a knitting theme.  Sorry I didn't get a pic of it!!

Show and tell followed:

Kim turned in 2 squares for the afghans!!

She also turned in 5 hats that someone had given her for the charity!!!!  Way to go!!!!

Darlene hiding behind her scarf!!  She said she's been working on it for almost a year!!  This is the year for an ending!!!!  (If she only knew how long some of my WIPS have been hiding!!)

Sandy shared how she took Connie's tip from last meeting and used it to wind some of the scarf yarn....

She and Cindy had to hash all that out!!  LOL!!

Cindy shared the 2nd Christmas stocking that she'll be going to express to her sister to get it there for Christmas!!

Katie is smiling because she's hiding her knitting.... Christmas surprizes in her lap!!!

Mary shared a great new knitting needle holder.... If you'd ever seen Mary's knitting needle collection you'd know why she need places to put them!!!!!!!

After show and tell we got to the real goodies!!!  Every one had brought goodies and the Santa's were from Mary's collection!!!  The food was wonderful, and the company was better!!!!!!!!

And from the CVKG there were little presents!!  Connie made the tiny sweaters and knitted most of the little bags they came in!!!  Big Thank You goes out to her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

November Meeting Fun!!!

Our November meeting was a great success!  We had 10 members there and everyone was sharing tips and projects!!
Show and Tell:
Judith shared a great scarf and a beaded Christmas ornament.  Sorry I didn't get a better pic of the ornament!!
Cindy shared a Christmas stocking she's working on!!
These are from Susan.  They're actually Morse Code for her name in beads!!!  (I got the shot, but I got it upside down, sorry Susan!!  The blue is supposed to be on the bottom!!)
Sue shared a little shrug that's knit with crochet sleeves and knit cuffs!!  Cute!!
Kim shared some wild and crazy wrist warmers that she's working on!!  The pile next to her and Mary are Mary's hats, scarves, and a cowl for our charity!!!!!!!!!!

Then we got down to business with a program by Connie on I-cord and beading with a crochet hook!!  Connie had even taken the time and energy to make everyone kits with the yarn and beads!!!

Everyone just got busy and started making tiny little wreaths!!!

Last but not least, Sandy got these in a trade with Susan.  I don't know what she traded, but it must have really been good!!

Our botique was open for shopping after the meeting.

The squares that everyone made last meeting were turned in and we've got a total of 14 now!!!

Hope you enjoyed the pics... Join us next time!!!  Our next meeting will be our Christmas party and will be a week early on December 17th at the same place!!  Hope to see you there!!
